Koh Samed Sunset Viewpoint
Sunset Viewpoint is located just about the middle area of the island (near Ao Lung Dam Beach). The viewpoint area is a place that visitors can see sunset view in the evening. On the day time, visitors who come here can still enjoy seeing the horizon and panoramic view. This is one of interesting places to stop over when travelling around Koh Samed. Note that, to enjoy sunset view here, visitors should arrive the area before 18.00.
Sunset Viewpoint is 4.5 kilometers far from Nadan Pier. It is not difficult to visit this viewpoint, as its location is just next to the main road, so visitors can just go there by a Songthaew or motorbike easily. Those who are at Ao Lung Dam Beach can just walk here within 5 minutes.
Although there are a few other places to view sunset, the viewpoint is the official one because the word "Sunset Viewpoint" is written on notice sign in this area, near Ao Lung Dam Beach.

Note that, to go to this viewpoint at night is not recommended. This is because one who visit there might be alone on the street and it can be unsafe.
