Ao Tubtim Beach
Ao Tubtim Beach (Ao Phutsah Beach) is a small beach located next to Ao Phai Beach. This beach is a non-busy place, but the beach is as beautiful as the others on the island. It is suitable for visitors who would like to enjoy relaxing at the beach peacefully with private atmosphere (not alone in the beach, though). Foods can be found at the beach but not much, so if visitors would like to have more choices just walk a little towards Ao Phai Beach.
In the past, the area of the beach was known as a separated area between Ao Phutsah Beach and Ao Tubtim Beach. The beach name come from the names of resorts – Phutsa Bungalows and Tubtim Resort. However, as these two beaches is located so closed to each other and no any diving sign at all, visitors, at the present, just think that this beach is just Ao Tubtim Beach. Perhaps, it is because the notice sign to the beach just shows Ao Tubtim Beach on the board.
Ao Tubtim Beach offer just a small beach in the area, just about 80-meter beach length, starting from artificial rock piles to a small cape separated this beach and Ao Nual Beach. At this small beach, visitors can find just one restaurant and one small Thai massage shop here. Though, a few food hawkers and Songthaew can also be found here.
The location of Ao Tubtim Beach is about 2 kilometers far from Nadan Pier. Visitors can take a Songthaew to be here, but there might not be a lot of visitors to come here, so visitors might get off at Ao Phai Beach instead and walk a bit to Ao Tubtim Beach.
