Ao Wai Beach
Ao Wai Beach is one of peaceful beaches on Koh Samed Island. The beach, in general, presents relaxing atmosphere with not many visitors on the beach - most visitors are likely foreigners as a small family group. Beach chairs and a beachfront swimming pool is provided for free to customers of the resort – there is only one resort in this beach, Samed Ville Resort.
Ao Wai is located quite far from Nadan Pier, about 5.3 kilometers. Its location is almost at the furthest of the island, so not many tourists go visiting this beach. It, for this reason, would be a bit difficult to get people to share a Songthaew to Ao Wai Beach. Though, visitors can get a speed boat from Ban Phe to this beach directly.
The length of Ao Wai Beach is about 200 meter long. There are not many activities as Sai Kaew Beach or Ao Vongduan Beach. On the rise of the sea, seawater reaches towards some trees, but on the fall of the sea, the beach surface is extended and the beach looks a lot more space. When looking at the sea, visitors can noticeably see a white small island, which is a place for snorkeling.
Apart from enjoyments for beautiful natures, there are also a swimming in the pool, Thai-massage area, a beach chair for relax and sunbathing, and a small restaurant to support visitors at the beach. Though, visitors who are not customers of Samet Ville Resort would have to pay for using facilities as beach chair, pool, and toilet.
At the entrance of the beach, there is a Songthaew Station to support visitors to go other places, but visitors might have to hire one as a private group, not a shared group. This is because not many visitors in the beach would like to take a Songthaew together at the same time.

Ao Lung Dam Beach is a small beach at the southern part of the island, just next to Ao Sangthian Beach. Apart from beautifully clear seawater, this beach also presents a wooden pier, which is seen as the highlight of the beach. Many postcards of Koh Samed is taken photo with this pier. Thai visitors also think that this beach is the place to be - when visiting Koh Samed, don't forget to visit Ao Lung Dam Beach.
