After that he model led another stupa as the one at Samut Prakarn to be a sign of arrival in Rayong, covered with approximately 20 acres of mangrove forest. Phra Chedi Klang Nam of Rayong is built with brick and mortar in white color, 10-meters-high. Its body is like bell shape, while it is topped with steadily smaller circle-superimposed shape.
This stupa is really respectable by local residences in Rayong. Every Loy Krathong day, the full moon day of twelfth month, there is a celebration for change robe of the stupa, where 6-meteres-long red robe is used to cover the body of stupa in order to show highly respect toward the stupa. There is also a march of boats along the river in this celebration.
Just 100 meters away from the stupa, there is also mangrove learning center presented as an ecotourism in Rayong. This center is under the project of preserving mangrove forest and is supported by LCP power plant. In the center, visitors can walk along the 200-meters-long artificial walkway to look around surrounding mangrove.
