The Glass House Pattaya
The Glass House Beachfront restaurant and bar is one of most romantic places not far from Pattaya City. This restaurant and bar is so famous that both Thai and foreign customers come to enjoy every day. There is a variety of food choices available in the restaurant, Thai and international food, desserts, a range of alcohol. Although the price is higher than standard, customers are still satisfied to natural and romantic atmosphere. Its location is at 10 Na Jomtien (a little before Ambassador Hotel).
The Glass House has been open for only a few years. It is an open-air restaurant, separating into several areas, on the sand beach, in the bar and on the floor (the seats are mostly provided with cushions to make customers feel more comfortable when seating). The most popular area seems to be the sand beach area because it is the most romantic one. Some customers make a reservation for this area before coming to the restaurant. The tables are facing to the sea so that customers can also enjoy the sunset while eating.
In the case of food, there are a variety of choices in the restaurant - Thai, International, desserts and drinks (soft drink, fruit juice and alcohol drinks). The menu show images of food and drink, where the price list for each one in on the back of each section. Customers can ask a waiter or waitress for the popular ones in the restaurant.
The Glass house is located near Jomtien Beach, Pattaya. It is actually in Soi 10 Na Jomtien, where unfortunately there are not public transport pass through this restaurant. Visitors would have to hire a metered taxi from Pattaya City to visit here. Those who has a vehicle can go there by driving from Sukhumvit Road to Alangkarn Threater and then make a u-turn to Soi 10 Na Jomtien (drive slowly after the u-turn to see the notice sign of the restaurant). After turning to Soi 10 Na Jomtien, just go striaght away about 500 meters to The Glass House Restaurant.
