Somtam Pa Mon Pattaya
Somtam Pa Mon is a famous restaurant in Sattahip, near Pattaya. At first, this restaurant wan well-known only by locals, but currently, there are a lot more (Thai) visitors going to taste the food. This is because great points of this restaurant, as good taste and inexpensiveness, have been presented through some media already. There are also a lot of food choices for Thai-northeastern food style. Not surprisingly, this restaurant becomes more and more popular recently. The location of the restaurant is at Baan Amphoe, near Ambassador Hotel.
Somtam Pa Mon Restaurant is decorated normally, just as other restaurants in general. It is not similar to a high class or large restaurant. Basically, the atmosphere of the restaurant is just normal. However, the cleanliness of this normal restaurant is fine. Additionally, because the owner of the restaurant seems to target just local customers at the first place, food price here is then quite cheap.
There is not just Thai-northeastern food in this Somtam restaurant, because there is also fried chickened, which is made from special recipe of the restaurant. Coconut ice-cream is also offered here. The ice-cream will help customer to deal with spicy main dishes pretty well. Just visit the restaurant once if you go to Sattahip area.
The location of Somtam Pa Mon Restaurant is near Ambassdor Hotel (on the same side of the hotel). If you come from Sukhumit Road from Pattaya City, just go straight on until you find Ambassador Hotel. Then u-turn, and drive straight on just a little, you will find the restaurant. Note That, the restaurant close on Monday, though.
