Koh Mun Klang
Koh Mun Klang is an attractive destination, especially for those who are after a plain natural island to stay. There is a clean and beautiful white-sandy beach for visitors to enjoy swimming and sunbathing. Accommodation provided on this island is provided in hut style next to the beach, so visitors can enjoy the beach in an instant. Natural atmosphere and coral reefs can be presented towards visitors as well. Visitors can also have a look at shell farm or take a rental kayak to go around the island. Koh Mun Klang is a moderate island, located not too far from the main land, Rayong Province. This island, in fact, is a private island, managed by Mantrakiri Resort Island, which is also only one resort available on the island. If visitors prefer to stay for a night on the island, they are required to contact the resort beforehand. The main attractive point of this island is the peacefulness. It is just like a private island for visitors.
However, Facilities on the island, especially electricity and fresh water are shortage. Fresh water is taken from the mainland. Electricity need to be generated, so the using time of it is limited, from 5 PM to 8 AM.
To go to Koh Mun Klang, visitors can rent a boat at Laem Mae Phim Beach or Ao Makhampom. Visitors can take a speed boat to the island in 10 minutes.

Laem Mae Phim Beach is one of three most popular beaches in Rayong Province. However, rather than located near Rayong city, this beach is situated in Klaeng district.
