Ploy Resort
Ploy Guesthouse (Ploy Resort) can be seen as one of most interesting cheap accommodations in Kanchanaburi. Its location is close not far from the city center, while its atmosphere is similar to a good resort. The swimming pool here can be a good spot to see the view of Kwai River. In short, for those who would like to stay at a budget accommodation should also keep this place in the list.
Although the name of this accommodation has change from Ploy Guesthouse to Ploy Resort, many visitors still call this place by the old name. This place is a two-storey building decorating with a small garden and green field. There is a swimming pool next to the Kwai river (on different level though), and this swimming pool opens from 6 am to 8.30 pm.
Rooms in this guesthouse are not large and simply decorated, but standard amenities such as air conditioning, television, water heater, and (in some room) fridge as well as mini bars, are still provided. Free freshwater is provided outside of the room. Note that, the room on the ground floor has a small garden in the room but it is completely separated by a large glass; this means that guests can see plants even in their room.
Another thing to keep in mind is that guests who do not have a private vehicle might have to hire a Songthaew to this guesthouse.
