Saensuk Temple can be seen as one of interesting places in Bangsaen. Tourists often come here to see unique style of various statues in the temple, since there are more than a hundred statues here. Most of staues related to Buddism, and some of the statues also deliver a sense of humor. For those who would like to see something more than relaxing at the beach, this temple can be a good choice for them. This temple is also located not far from bangsaen Beach.
Saensuk Temple Bangsaen is a large temple. It covers an area of about 30 Rai ( 12 acres). In the temple, there are three main areas – history of the Buddha zone, heaven zone, and hell zone. For history of the Buddha, there are statues about the story of Lord Buddha from birth, enlightenment and, nirvana. In the case of Haeven zone, there are statue about gods and celestials from many religions and beliefs, including Jesus (the son of Christian’s god) and Hindu Gods. For the other one, hell zone, there are statues about activities of people after death in hell (in the Buddhism). The last one is the most popular zone for visitors because they cannot find the statues like this somewhere else.
The location of Saensuk temple is Soi 14, Bangsaen Second Road, not so far from Khawlam intersection. There is a public transport (Songthaew) to drop visitors off at the junction to the temple, but visitors have to walk about 300 meters.
