Pungwaan Resort and Spa
Pungwaan Resort and Spa has been known by visitors for a long time because it is located on the riverside of Kwai Yai River. This resort is also close to the most famous attraction in Kanchanaburi, River Kwai Bridge, where guests will need to take only 5 minutes by car to be there. Its price for a room with amenities is also affordable, so it can be one of an interesting place for visitor to stay near the bridge of River Kwai.
In Pungwaan Resort and Spa, green area from trees can be found everywhere around the main building. Kwai Yai River next to its area can produce more naturally interesting atmosphere. There are 111 rooms offered by the resort, where the room provides either a garden or river view. Amenities in the room are as basic as other hotels, while free WiFi provided in the lobby area.
For activities in this resort, there are swimming pools for adult and children, and bicycles are also available for those who would like to see around the resort. Walking through the garden or take some rest at the river's bank are also activities done by some guest. Spa is also one interesting choice for relaxation here.
Note that, although this resort is not so far from River Kwai Bridge, guests seem to need a car or hire a Song Thaew to get to the resort.
