    Overall Information

    In Sattahip District, there are a number of accommodations available in different areas. Guests will have choices for sea view accommodations, peaceful resorts, and convenient and comfortable hotels. Accommodations in Sattahip can be divided into three major areas:

    The first one is accommodations in Sattahip city. Accommodations in this area are quite popular for Thai guests because there are a number of accommodations taking care by Thai marines. Unfortunately, this type of accommodation is not available for foreign guests to stay because some of them is located in the navy basement area.   There are still some resort and hotels in the area always welcoming foreign guests, though.

    The second area is accommodation around Sameasan Village. This area is quiet and not far from the sea. It is also a fishing village in Sattahip. The Buddha image enshrined in the village temple is also famous enough to bring Thai visitors to respect. Nang Rum Beach and Sea Turtle Center is also not so far from the village.

    The last area is Na Jomtien (and Bang Saray). Accommodations in this area are located in between Sattahip City and Pattaya City. Those who stay in this area can enjoy peacefulness and easy to enjoy lively city at Pattaya in just 20 minutes.  Some resorts also have private beach for guests to enjoy. There are also several tourist attractions situated in this area.

    Baan Sattahip by the sea is a boutique accommodation in the center of Sattahip area. Guests can enjoy sea view from the guesthouse since it is located next to the sea, although there is no beach in the area. To stay in this guesthouse is a good opportunity to discover local lives – a school, a temple and a market is not far away. It can be seen as a good place to stay in Sattahip.
