My Reason to Step in Thailand Tour Guide Program

Dear diary,

      I took the test and the interview for getting in the Tour Guide Program yesterday. It was fine and just made me nervous a little. They, the interviewers, asked me why I wanted to study for this program.

      I didn’t give them a direct answer, but I told them a story of 3 years ago. When I came visiting home with Korean girl friend, she asked me so many questions about Thailand, especially Ayutthaya. She was interested in Ayutthaya histories after reading from a guidebook. She wanted me to take her to Ayutthaya.

      Sorry, I couldn’t tell her much information about it because I didn’t know anything about Ayutthaya. I told her I couldn’t because I didn’t know the histories. She seemed surprised that I didn’t know about my own country history, especially Ayutthaya where it was an old capital of Thailand. I felt a bit mad from her complaint. At that time, we ended up with taking her to Ancient City, known by Thai people as Muang Boran, in Samut Prakan Province. Just let’s she have a trip around Thailand within one day instead. That was the story I told the interviewer.

      The result of the test and the interview will be released in the next 2 days. And after making a payment about $1,200, if I pass the test, I will start the class next week.
